The 2017 Louisiana Intercollegiate Honor Band will present a concert at 2pm, Sunday, January 15, in the McNeese Tritico Theatre.

This honors group is comprised of selected students from 19 universities across the state, including 12 McNeese students. 

The students apply and are nominate by their university band directors to fill the 80-member concert ensemble.  The students will rehearse with a special guest conductor Friday evening and all day Saturday to prepare the music.

The 2017 conductor is Professor Richard Clary, Director of Wind Ensemble Studies at Florida State University.

The concert is open to the public and admission is free.
