Continuing Auditions for the '18-'19 Academic Year

Students may audition through July for:
- The 2018 McNeese Marching Band Brass & Woodwind Sections
- McNeese Band Service Awards (scholarships)
- Entrance into McNeese as a music major (performance or education)

As a general rule, the earlier you can audition, the better
Percussionists who would like to audition for the cymbal line should contact Professor Lonny Benoit at LBenoit@mcneese.edu
Students may apply to the university through July.

Drumline Placement Auditions (for placement on specific instruments for the fall season)
- Saturday, May 12
- 2pm-6pm
- Band Hall
Summer Drumline Camp Days (All are 10:00-3:00)
- Saturday, June 2
- Saturday, June 23
- Saturday, July 21
- Saturday, August 4
- 1st/2nd-year drumline members must attend at least 3 of the 4 summer days in order to receive the fall service award.
- 3-year+ members must attend 2 of the 4 summer days
- Everyone is encouraged to attend all 4 days
Fri/Sat, August 10/11 - Pre Round Up Rehearsals (9am-5pm)
