Lake Charles Toyota Becomes the corporate sponsor for the 2017 McNeese Bands and          The 2017 Gulf Coast Marching Band Championship

Lake Charles Toyota has become the first-ever corporate sponsor of the McNeese State University Bands.  The dealership on Highway 14 in Lake Charles has made a substantial contribution to assist the McNeese band students traveling to London in December/January.  "Many businesses and individuals have made extremely generous donations to the McNeese Foundation's drive to help fund the trip.  We are incredibly thankful to everyone who has donated and continues to donate.  The Tarver family and everyone at Lake Charles Toyota picked up the ball and ran with it," said McNeese Director of Bands, Jay Jacobs.  

Lake Charles Toyota will also serve as the primary sponsor of the annual fall marching band festival at McNeese (October 28, this year). The event will now bear the title of "The Lake Charles Toyota Gulf Coast Marching Band Championship."  The band is also looking for businesses to sponsor various elements of the championship, such as the trophies and the judging panel.  Interested parties should contact the band office at 337-475-5004. Dr. Jacobs stated: "We are thrilled to partner with Lake Charles Toyota in our 2017-2018 season.  As the Cowboy Marching Band continues to grow, our travel and general operations become challenging from an expense standpoint.  Corporate sponsorships such as this will allow us to travel and perform, as we represent and recruit for this amazing university and the wonderful  community of Lake Charles."
