The McNeese Symphonic Band

The Symphonic Band is a 70-80 piece concert ensemble, conducted by Professor Tim Pardue.  The band meets during the spring semester and is made up of students from various academic majors on campus.

Meeting on Monday/Wednesday, 4:30-5:45, the ensemble performs at least two concerts in the spring semester, consisting of a high level of literature.

The ensemble carries a band service award (scholarship) for all academically-qualifying students.  Students are not required to audition for symphonic band (but must do an entrance audition, which also qualifies them for the service award).
